It’s now January 2019 so… Ready…Steady…..GO! Let the game begin!
I am really excited to get started and find out what the first challenge will be and finding out what other people will be reading for their challenges. I have been blown away by the amazing response we have gotten and how creative you guys have been in designing and setting up your boards. Honestly, I am a little intimated I need some of your artistic mojo!
I will be rolling my dice this week, I am desperate to see where I land and what challenges I have. The plan is to complete 3 or 4 streets this month so I will be rolling 4 times and picking my books. I am going to be recording all of this, so keep an eye out for a new video on the Under the Covers You Tube channel. You can already see Francesca’s video and Jessica’s video.
Also…Beanies Coffee Shop the first social media challenge is open! All you need to do for this one is post a picture of your bookshelf on social media..Instagram, Facebook, Twitter….whichever platform you favour using #romanceopolyshelfie. Once you have posted you can mark that challenge as complete AND be in with a chance to win a giveaway when the coffee shop closes! Beanies is only opened for a limited time, so make sure you get it done by 31 March.
Stay tuned here on this website closer to the end of January we will be posting the January Progress Link Up where you can drop links to your end of the month blog posts, social media wrap-up posts or YouTube videos so we can easily find those and we can all see what was read and how we’re doing on the challenge!
Don’t forget that our first Mystery Challenge prompt will be announced February 1 on both UTC and PLB YouTube channels (as well as here) and we will also add to the recommendations page.
As quick reminder, here are some really useful links in the site that can help you pick out your books and set up your challenge:
